ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH

I don’t believe differentiation comes from trying to be different.
It comes from being clear about how you see the world and responding to it intentionally.

People often ask what makes my work different. The better question is how I understand leadership, people, and organizations in today’s reality. That perspective, shaped by lived experience, formal training, and reflection over time, informs everything I do.

I don’t coach or consult from a position of ego or prescription. Everything I do is from a lens of service.

How I See Leadership

Leadership today operates in unprecedented complexity.

Technology, remote work, AI, and constant change have reshaped how work gets done and raised the stakes for leaders at every level. At the same time, many of the human skills required to navigate this environment have not been practiced or intentionally supported, not because organizations don't care, but pace, pressure, and outcomes override it.

I believe organizations struggle not because people don’t care, but because human capacity has not kept pace with complexity.

Leadership is not about title, authority, or personal opinion. It’s about responsibility. The responsibility to make decisions under pressure, to communicate clearly when things are uncertain, and to steward people through change without losing trust or humanity along the way.

That belief is the foundation of my work.

The Experience I Bring

I didn’t follow a straight-line career path, and that’s intentional.

I’ve been hourly. I’ve been an executive. I’ve supported leaders as a personal assistant, worked behind the scenes in creative industries, and sat at the table making high-stakes decisions. I’ve worked inside large, complex organizations where expectations were high, and the pressure to deliver results, innovate, serve clients, and engage employees was constant.

I’ve worked within organizations such as House of Blues, The Walt Disney Company, and Lockheed Martin across hospitality, entertainment, aerospace, defense, and mission-critical environments.

I’ve seen leadership from every angle, not just how it’s designed, but how it’s experienced.

I’ve worked with exceptional leaders. I’ve worked with ineffective ones. And like most people in demanding roles, I learned many of my most important leadership lessons from both my mistakes and my successes.

That perspective shapes everything I do.

My Approach

At my core, I am a systems thinker with a deep respect for human experience.

I bring a strong systems-and-process lens, grounded in the understanding that silos quietly erode innovation, growth, and trust. Organizations don’t fail because people lack commitment. They struggle because systems are misaligned and leaders are disconnected from how work actually flows.

I operate at the intersection of:

  • human experience and organizational systems

  • data, research, and lived reality

  • strategy and day-to-day behavior

I rely on evidence, data, and sound research to inform decisions, while remaining deeply attuned to how humans respond to pressure, uncertainty, and change.

Organizations are systems, but they are systems made of people. Ignoring either side leads to failure.

Why This Work Matters

I do this work because I’ve lived the impact of leadership done well and leadership done poorly.

I’ve seen what happens when people are promoted for technical excellence without support for leading humans. I’ve watched capable, committed people burn out under systems that ignore how stress, ambiguity, and constant change affect behavior.

Coaching, when done well, doesn’t just unlock performance.
It builds awareness, resilience, and the capacity to lead with intention.

Service is in my DNA. I believe every organization, regardless of industry, is both results-driven and service-driven. You serve your customers and your people. When either is neglected, performance suffers.

My Work Today

Today, I run a boutique coaching and consulting practice focused on helping leaders and organizations grow human capacity for a complex world.

My work includes:

  • Executive, group, and team coaching

  • Leadership development strategy

  • Organizational design and culture alignment

  • Change management and process improvement

Whether I’m coaching an executive one-on-one, facilitating a leadership retreat, or guiding an organization through change, I bring strategy, psychology, curiosity, and lived experience to the work.

I work in environments where expectations are high, pressure is constant, and leadership decisions matter deeply. I speak fluent “high-stakes corporate” and fluent human.

Beyond the Boardroom

I’m also the President and Executive Director of the Stable Ground Institute, a nonprofit offering equine-assisted learning and trauma recovery through our herd of horses.

We serve foster families, survivors of domestic abuse and trafficking, and individuals navigating trauma. We also work with leaders and teams to explore presence, communication, and regulation through experiential learning.

A 1,200-pound animal doesn’t care about your title.
That makes them extraordinary teachers.
