You may have noticed that, alongside my work as a coach and leadership consultant, I also serve as the Executive Director of Stable Ground Institute, an Equine-Assisted Learning nonprofit.
My commitment to service began early. What started in high school as a way to skip a class period quickly became a lifelong calling. Over the years, I’ve served in many roles, including Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader, board member, and advocate for individuals and families navigating crisis and trauma. Each experience reinforced a simple truth: meaningful connection changes lives.
Along the way, I discovered another influential teacher… horses.
Horses have an extraordinary ability to reflect our emotions, behaviors, and intentions with honesty and grace. They teach us about leadership, communication, boundaries, and trust, and they are remarkable partners in healing, especially for those who have experienced trauma.
Stable Ground Institute was born at the intersection of these passions: service, horses, and my professional work in leadership development and human behavior.
Through Stable Ground Institute:
-
Organizations and teams engage in experiential learning around leadership, communication, and conflict, guided by trusted equine partners
-
Individuals gain insight, self-awareness, and connection through one-to-one equine experiences
-
Schools and community programs foster growth, resilience, and emotional intelligence
-
Foster families, survivors of domestic abuse, and survivors of human trafficking find space to reconnect, rebuild trust, and heal through the quiet power of horses

Most importantly, know this: every time you work with me, a portion of your investment is donated directly to Stable Ground Institute.
Your engagement helps extend these services to those who need them most, ensuring that leadership, healing, and connection remain accessible beyond the corporate setting.
This work is not separate. It is deeply connected. And it is part of how we create lasting impact, together.
