Equine Coaching
I did not decide to go into equine coaching; my horse somewhat decided it for me. I have owned a beautiful and sensitive horse for over 14 years, and through those years, I have learned so much about how to be a better human through her and working with other horses. Then, two years ago, I was asked to be the Volunteer Director of Operations for the 2022 USA Special Olympics Games. That changed everything. I was already a coach, and what I witnessed with these gentle beings and the connection they provided was nothing less than amazing. After these experiences, I realized I had to show others the fantastic gift these animals can bring. Since that time, I have spent countless hours learning everything there is to know about how to merge human psychology and horse behavior to help people become their best selves.
I host 1:1 equine coaching sessions and group sessions at the farm.
Meet the Herd

Sandro Sitara "Tara"
The one that started it all! Tara is a big girl, both in size and in personality. She is very smart and highly sensitive and can read people well.

Magical Mini "Ella"
Ella is our ambassador and training as a therapy horse. She will soon be doing visits out in the community. Ella was found in a rescue with her entire family. I feel in love with her because of her curiosity and love of people. Besides who could not love a blue-eyed all white mini.

The Boys "Dio & Dain"
These are the babies, yes babies! They are yearlings and growing up in the coaching program. They both are exceptional young colts and really like people. They work less than just being horses but still can assist with the right people.
What does equine coaching look like?

Great question! It depends... If it is an individual session, it is very similar to a private coaching session, with the exception of the presence of a horse. Depending on the individuals comfort the horse can be in the round pen together or seperate. Either way, we will discuss the feelings and reactions that come up between the individual and the horse. This helps get to deeper understanding.

In a group setting, we have a more formatted learning structure with specific goals set up prior to the session.

All sessions are customized to meet the individual or team need. The one common aspect is it is outside, in nature, with horses.
